Hi, I'm Ben Saxie, chef and owner of The Village Bacon. We pride ourselves on being uniquely authentic. In essence I think being uniquely authentic is using my own perspective to produce a range of comfort food that people enjoy. As a family business, my wife Tracy manages the Burnside Village store. We don't And this obviously resonates with our customers, showing by our ever growing customer base. Our now famous lamb shank pie, our artisan saldo breads and our vanilla slice have been customer staples since their introduction. But now I'm excited by our twist of the great Aussie Laminton. We're doing a lime sponge, lemon curd filling, a white chocolate sauce and toasted coconuts. A truly Village Bacon original.
