Main Street Deli

Hi, my name is Ecto and this is Main Street Deli. We saw an opportunity downtown. We saw a lot of effort that the city was putting in. Every time we go up, wow, this would be a perfect location to open up a restaurant. Actually, we've always had in mind to open a burger place. We thought a burger restaurant would be something pretty easy to run. That's what we thought. But then this space became available where Main Street Deli is at. And were And we thought sandwiches was something easy to do, a good menu and something very I think that our downtown and the vibe that downtown itself gives to Main Street Deli makes it pretty special. Besides, our quality ingredients are focused on always having a clean place, a great service to compliment the food as well. So I think that it has a lot of factors that make it work. Today, we're going to be showing you a spaghetti and meatballs. We're going to do a crepe as well, a provolano crepe, which is pretty popular here. And we're also going to do a patty melt. So you could see a bit of what the categories we have. When thinking of the menu, we always thought and considered everything that a lot of the family can adapt. So there's different options to choose from. We do have a great team in the back of the house that supports us and helps us. And also who operates with a lot of idea and everything that we come up with. It was a matter of trial and error and seeing what customers were asking for and seeing what people were adapting and getting used to it. So it's a bit of both experience from our team and then as well from what customers really want. It wasn't planned. We saw that Market Square was coming together. When we started, it had just been fully renovated. The streets became a park, a place to hang out. So taking advantage of that space and showcasing that to our customers, having that outdoor space where customers can feel comfortable eating. Once you're sitting out there or inside here, you forget that you're in Bronsville. But then when you realize you're in Bronsville, it just makes you feel special. And it's amazing that you have this in the community.
