Best gourmet sandwiches in the Peninsula!
in front of Ike's lair right now in Oakland, California. For those of you who don't know, Ike's Place is the first sandwich store in downtown San Francisco, very well known. A lot of the combinations have really crazy names, but I'll show you in a little bit just with the menu they had here. So they don't show everything on the menu in this one, but they serve whatever Ike's Place serve. They say they can do it here as well. So let's go in and take a look. All right, I'm really excited to try this. I've heard so much about this place and it's a bit loud in here, sorry. Look at some of the names of these Elvis Keith, Hollywood's Cheesecake, Nacho Boy, Hot Mama Huda, Name of the Girl I'm Dating, Going Home for Thanksgiving, We're Just Friends to the Right, Foxy, Foxy, Bakesale, Super Mario, Ugly Owl, Meatless Mike, Kiwi, Captain for Womanizer, The Jerry Stoppings. Pretty neat. So for Brent Choices, they have something called the famous Dutch Crunch. It'so when it's heated up, it's just really flaky. That's really good. And we got the cool lunch boxes. I love that. This is so cool. I love this. Look there, they're making a sandwich right there. Y We'really busy too. The line is This is what I got. It's a lot, I know, but I have to get what Man Vs Food did when he came. He got the kryptonite and you get lollipops too. Basically, let me take it out. Ta-da! Kryptonite. It comes So it'supposed to be this long. So that's a challenge why Man Vs Food did this. But basically the kryptonite is, I have to read it because I don't remember everything that's in it, is roast beef, corn beef, pastrami, salami, turkey, bacon, ham. Of course it's on the Dutch Crunch bread, which is famous. As I said, you must have that. Take a look at this. I'm going to open this up. It was so heavy they had to give me a bag with a handle. And no one got a bag with a handle. Okay, so besides the meat in here, ooh the bread just, okay, so that's the top of the Dutch Crunch. And inside there's avocado, lettuce, tomato, cuc Yep, and I believe that's onion, fried onion rings. I'm gonna take my first bite. Wow, that's amazing. I actually need the whole thing. Wow, that was really delicious. I can't believe I ate the whole thing. I'm pretty amazed at myself. Part of it I was like, okay, I can't do this, but then What can I say? At Ike's Lair, I think all of you should come. Whether you go to Ike's Place in downtown Asse, or come here to Oakland, you've got to try it because Gormach gives this place a five th I'm so stuffed. I have major food coma. I think I got to walk it off now.
