At the count of three, one, two, three, hey! Congratulations! Also would Thank you so much. Hi my name is Tammy Kulak and I'm with Firehouse Subs in Hoffman Estates 2510 North Sutton Road. Firehouse Subs what makes us different is we steam our meat and cheese to make a warm submarine sandwich. The steaming process produces a very flavorful sandwich because it brings out all the flavors and juices of the meats. So Firehouse Subs was actually founded by two firemen, the Sorenson brothers down in Jacksonville, Florida. They were actually firefighters and their dad, Captain Sorenson, was captain of the fire department down there. They cooked for the firehouse and everybody said, hey So back in 1994 Firehouse Subs was born. Firehouse Subs is not related to the local fire department but we have done a lot of work with the local Hoffman Estates fire department with Chief Jorian and his staff. They helped with a lot of the pictures and to help me understand the history of Firehouse. The other thing that's really important to us as Firehouse Subs is that we have a public safety foundation and that public safety foundation. We collect money. It goes into a foundation that is a nationwide foundation but 100% of that money goes back out to the actual first responders who can apply for grants on a quarterly basis to help them buy life-saving equipment. Our menu consists of sub sandwiches. We have 10 specialties subs. We have a hearty and flavorful menu for those people that want sandwiches that are 500 calories or less. We also have salads with and without meat and we can also do any of our sandwiches on a bed of lettuce or as a lettuce wrap. We have soup and chili which is awesome and we also have desserts, cookies and brownies. One of the things though that people actually come into the firehouse Subs for is we have the Coke Freestyle Machine which has 160 plus flavors of Coke and every Firehouse Subs that you go into will have one of these Coke Freestyle Machines with our signature drink that is proprietary to Firehouse Subs being a cherry limeade.
