Eat in or take out subs, sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, hot foods, desserts
of a fire that badly damaged the popular deli in Bloomington. Flames broke out at the village deli around noon today, and this is cell phone video showing the back of the building covered in flames. At the time the fire started, customers and staff were inside. Two employees tell us what happened at the moment that they realized what was happening. I walked in the kitchen and I saw, I just thought it smelled kind of strange. And I walked back out and I was just putting drinks at a table and then the lights were flickering. I thought that was strange too. And then all of a sudden everyone was just And I was just kind of standing there It's just gonna be a piece of burnt toast And then everyone was And so I left. Bloomington fire department was able to put out the flames within five minutes. They stayed at the scene for a few hours watching for hotspots.
