While creek through forests, stillness flows, Missa sand, it'sunshine, shadows, rain drops, snowflakes, AB falling, quiet corner, softly calling. Hi, this is Holly Huffman with Electric Cons Won't you come join us? Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of cities, amongst the trees and lakes of Noble County lies the quiet corner tea and coffee room. Owned by Dick and Shirley Rinker, who after working as missionaries india, wanted to share their experiences of tea time, a tradition where members of the community connect over tea and light snacks. When we started off, my mindset was just to enjoy people. Just to have them come, just That was my motivation. But then we discovered from living india, we didn't have really elaborate things. So other people would say, well, you have to have more. So we started making, we thought, well, we'll have sandwiches. Someone comes this far out in the woods, they deserve to have a little bit more to eat. So we started making sandwiches and then somebody said we needed to add soup. So we started to add soup. But we have a good array of homemade desserts and Dick makes all the bread. Our signature item, of course, is our authentic Indian chai. And we get it from where we lived india, up in the Novery Hills. We have a ship from there. And it's a unique process to make it properly. Proving a unique experience with a strong sense of community spirit, quiet corner is a great place to visit for those after more than just a meal. The quiet corner tea and coffee room is located at 3242 East 500 South 57 Cherubusco and is open seasonally between April and November Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 4pm. Won't you join us next time?
