There's 232,000 adults in the North Texas area that have special needs that are unemployed and what perhaps we take for granted a job they desperately pray for. How many people with disabilities have you employed so far? I think it's 19 now. 19? Yeah. That's awesome and what's your experience so far with it? It's phenomenal to see what their potential is. What do you do here at work? What do they have you doing? I'm having me doing the fill in the sauce so I do the mustablin, the ranch and sometimes I help with the cat register, sometimes cooking. I'm just basically a cashier in training. I just learned to take orders and most I just try to at least tell people what's on the menu. Aspergers people are more When's the last time you really got good customer service somewhere? We hope that they get the order right. We hope that we get our right correct change. I don'think you're gonna meet many employees with Down syndrome that have egos or think that hey I'm too good to be working here. They're going to be on time. You'll never have to worry if they're going to be there because they want the job. They want the job and they don't want to fool around. I He is someone to know better and just being with him is fun. Tom he's just a gracious person. I mean for Aspergers How do you deal with people who aren't so nice or don't have some parents? I just try to remind myself that look they've had a hard day too because to take a phrase from Bucket the Vampire Slayer people they're a planetary epidemic. They're not going any way anytime soon. Originally talking to people about the idea they would actually laugh as if I was saying some un-PC joke or something and then they kind of see the look on my face and now hey I'm very serious about doing this.
