Ice cream and sorbet, bursting with the flavor of adventure. When you eat bacon, don't you normally eat it with scrambled eggs, but bacon as an ice cream? Well, you wouldn't find it in a traditional ice cream store, but then again, sweet republic here is anything but a traditional ice cream store. Want to have a taste? Let's go on in. Move over, vanilla. Stand back, strawberry. Bacon is the new flavor on the block. You've got to ask yourself, what kind of ice cream person are you? I never really thought of myself as a vanilla kind of girl, but bacon? Do you heart bacon? Do I heart? Because that's why we call it I heart bacon. It is definitely for bacon die hard. With flavors You may be wondering, where in the world owners, Jan and Helen, came up with these ideas? We don't make flavors of ice cream that are different just for the sake of being different. We are definitely here to make it tasty. We're ingredient driven and beyond ingredient driven, it's taste driven too. So flavors really matter and to get the best flavors, you have to use the best ingredients. We Jan and Helen are definitely risk takers. They became friends while working in New York's banking district. After witnessing 9-11, they said it was time to pursue their true passion. So they invested their taste in business in some frozen assets. People don'think of us this way, but we are happening foodie town. We're definitely up and coming. And as an entrepreneur, you want to be there on the ground floor when everything's getting built up. You can go into a mature, developed market or you can go into some place exciting and growing where new things are happening all the time.
