I look back and I don'think I could ever go back to working for somebody else again. The hours were crazy. I had no really free time for myself. I've spent my entire career traveling and missed a lot of my life with my kids growing up and I just didn't want to do that anymore. What made me decide to get into the UPS store business? We had looked at multiple, whether it was food service or other franchises and we really decided that the UPS store fit our personalities and what we wanted to do. I wanted to control my destiny where I was going. And something that we could do together as a family. I feel that this franchise is so successful because of the UPS brand. We can only be successful if the brand is strong. And many times with the name recognition of the UPS store and UPS, they choose us first. Printing, shipping, packing. We have so many different profit centers that we can really grow and benefit from. Everybody pulls together from the corporate office all the way down. Everything from training to advertising and marketing, purchasing. I just feel We came into a proven system that works and we follow the system and we're having success. What I enjoy most about being a UPS store franchisee is the pride of ownership, knowing that I'm working for myself and that it's my business. I get to get up, go to work and know that I'm helping other business owners succeed in what they're doing. I love my customers. I love my employees. I love every person, every face that comes in my store. I enjoy getting up every day and going to work and I can't see myself doing anything else the rest of my life.
