The Permanent Collection is a letterpress + graphic design studio for general design, posters/prints, cards, stationery, announcements/invitations and any other custom printed work. I could give you a long and exciting story about letterpress printing but in reality, I have been creating earnest little cards and prints since I was a small girl (just ask my mom—I used to draw images and type on everything as a child!) I love bringing joy and surprises to friends, family and clients with unique visual and typographical creations. Letterpress allows me to merge my love of color, imagery, typography, and paper in one place. I get the most satisfaction with making people happy with inked paper, press and hands. We are thrilled to print for you.
Not many people know what a VaynerCook SP15 is. Pacera McCoy uses it for her business almost every day. One of the oldest versions of printing, probably wood blocks are even older because you could just print with a block. But it's one of the oldest mechanized way of printing. The permanent collection is a full service design studio for graphic design, cards, posters, and anything else that you can think of. It's a really lovely way of printing. And that said, the type of paper you use really affects the kind of impression you get. For McCoy, letterpress printing started off as a hobby. I didn't write a business plan or have a lot of strategic plans about it necessarily. I just knew I wanted to make prints and cards and kind of make my own work and sell it. In an age of technology, McCoy's creations are unique because they are hand-inked and hand-cranked. The permanent collection is located at 520 E 6th Street.
