Thank you for downloading the CopyStore's Easy Design and Print Software for PhotoBooks. When you first launch your software, you'll have three options. You can create a new book. You can use FastTrack, where the software will help you create a new book, literally in minutes. Or you can open a saved book. To create a new book, simply click Create New Book, and then select your book size. We have 11 by 8. 5, 6 by 4, 7 by 5, or 8 by 8. All of the books have keyhole or window covers, with the exception of the 6 by 4 book. For today's example, we're going to use 7 by 5. And you click OK. The first t Click Add Images. You can select your pictures individually. Or you can select the entire folder by clicking Select All. Next you have selected all the pictures you would Click OK. The software will generate a the next t Click on page 1, and you'll notice that there's a blue picture placeholder right in the middle of the page, so it'll show through your window cover. All you have to do is click on the picture you'd You'll now notice that your cover page has a preview of the picture you have selected for your cover. Other to add a background with using your picture, simply click the picture you would It'll ask you how do you want to drop your picture. You can do a single page background, or you can do a two page spread background. The nice t You can do a sepia tone, or if you would also You may also, if you would Or you can even go into the page backgrounds we already have loaded, w A neat feature you have is you can drag and drop the background, and you can either add it much To simply add pictures, all you have to do to add pictures is drag and drop the picture. Again, it'll ask you how you want to drop the picture. If you select layout picture, it'll automatically lay the picture out the way the software t Another way you can lay out the picture is just simply drag and drop it on, and click add picture, in w Notice that there are a little nice grid in the background there that helps What that dotted line is, is the bleed mark, or where it's going to actually cut on your final book. One other nice feature when you drop pictures in is there's a little rotate tool on the top of each picture when you drop it in. To rotate your picture, you just simply click on the rotate tool and hold the mouse down, and you can rotate the picture any way you would You also can resize pictures or crop pictures. Resizing pictures is as easy as grabbing the corner and just holding the mouse button down and pulling. To crop pictures, it'simply just grabbing the sides and just moving them in. Then, of course, you can adjust the picture for centering and whatnot by using the arrows in the middle. Another nice little tool that we have is you can click on the picture, right click, you can add a drop shadow. You can go to picture borders here at the picture borders tab, and simply drag and drop picture borders right onto your picture. Another way you can add pictures is using our page layout tab, w You click page layouts, and there'several different page layouts you can choose from with different placements for pictures, sizing of pictures. For example, if you wanted to use then all you would have to do is go back to your book pictures and simply drag and drop your pictures where you want them to go. Another nice t I would recommend to rotate your picture before you place them, and then it's just dragging and dropping them in. Very simple. Even though it is a layout that you had selected from our page layouts, it is not set in stone. You can still go in there and rotate pictures. You can still add drop shadows or borders, pretty much whatever you want to do. To add a caption wherever you would That's pretty much all there is to it. It's very, very simple. You can change your text to any font that's on your computer. That makes it very nice. You have no limitations as far as that goes. You can change the size of your text. You can make it bold or un-bold. You can italicize it, justify it left, center, justify right. You can also change the color of the font as well. To rotate it, it also has a rotate tool on there as well. You can rotate the font, resize your text box, and you can place it wherever you would Another nice feature of our software is it has book templates pre-loaded. If you had a book you wanted to create for just your kids, for example, you would just simply click on the book templates tab, click on the our kids template, drag and drop it on, and select apply template. The software will automatically select backgrounds and layouts that it t All you then need to do is simply just go to any page that you have empty boxes and fill them by dragging and dropping. It works out very well. Just You also can make overlays where you overlay pictures. By right clicking, you can change the order so you can send t You can do a lot of different t One other way you can create a photo book very quickly is by using our fast track option. You can either select that as one of the main options when you first launch your software, or you can select it by clicking the fast track button at the top of the page. We won't save that book. When you're using fast track, you'll have to select the layout of your book. Either landscape or square will do landscape. The size, w Next it'll ask you for a theme. We'll do kids again. Then it asks you to select your pictures. You simply click select pictures. Same way you selected pictures earlier, either individually or the whole folder. We'll select the whole folder. Then you click next and it'll ask you to preview your pictures. At this point you can either remove pictures or reorder them so they appear in the book and in the order you would Click next. You can add a caption. T You can only do t You click next. It'll give you a s The software will automatically generate the backgrounds and automatically create your book for you. At t For example, t You can click on the picture still. You can still rotate it. Make it bigger. Move it. Do whatever you would Add captions. The choice is purely up to you. Once your book is prepared, whether it's a fast track book or a regular book, t All you then the next step is to just fill out the form as completely as possible so we would be able to contact you. We'll just say I filled out the form. Don'tell anybody. We'll click OK. And now it's going to process your actual files. T OK. Our book has now been processed for print and the next box that pops up is the upload dialog box. What the software is now doing is exporting your file into a PDF what you'll need to do now is click view pages.
