Bob's Service Center

Bob'service center is located on 157 Main Street in Madawaskam, Maine. They are a convenience store slash gas station and agency liquor store. Bob'service center was all started by Robert Bob Losey in 1956. The business was in a foreground conclusion but an opportunity that arose for Bob Losey in 1956. Former owner, Alfie Palatier, had Bob took over the store in September of 1956 and Palatier decided it was time to retire. It was similar retirement for the businessman who kept the taste of freeze next door to the store. In 1956, Bob's business included a garage that was situated where the redemption center was located for years before renovations in 2013-2014. The early business years were not without problems. Before Becky was born to Losey's, the apartment in the store building burned. It was rebuilt but lost again before a store expansion in the 1970s. It was in the 1970s that Bob also turned the garage into In that decade, Bob also built an automatic car wash. That was the gate where Jeff Albert had a convenience store and gasoline station on Main Street next to the Paradee family shop and save. Bob had sold the car wash to the Irvings in 1982. That was the time when Madawaskar area residents were going cross for cheaper Canadian gasoline. Albert purchased the business from Irving in the early 2010s.
