Well, it's time to talk about maintaining your vehicle. But let's talk about the people who maintain your vehicle. Our favorite mechanic, Al Wright from Johns Automotive Service, is here and we're going to discuss today why it's important to have a reliable mechanic. You want somebody that's going to be very transparent, somebody that's more about building relationships than just fixing cars. I would not put myself in that category. But it's one of those things where we see a lot of stuff where we get vehicles from other places that they want a second opinion that they just didn't feel comfortable with that shop or that repair facility. So we want to be the shop that's very transparent. You want to find somebody that's very transparent and is going to be very open with you and trustworthy. Okay. So if I'm coming in, what question should I be asking a mechanic when I come in, have my car look that? First thing I would say is a lot of people look, It's really hard for us to give prices over the phone, especially So we get that phone call where they're asking prices on breaks or this or that, but we don't, until we see the vehicle, we don't have any idea what it actually needs. So, Do you guys have the proper fluids, things If they're not willing to do that or take you out in the shop and show it to you, chances are they're trying to sell you something you probably don't need. Okay. And you do that. I know that because, You brought me back, you showed me what was wrong with it and you showed me pictures of it, which is great. I felt, that made me feel comfortable. I knew that, yeah, you were transparent. We want to be very transparent again. I know I keep stressing that, but, I mean, even for me to fix my own stuff, it's not, it's not inexpensive. So, And I've met a lot of friends and a lot of people through this industry. And I think it's very important that you find somebody that you can trust that is very open with you and that you feel comfortable coming back to you. Absolutely. Cause a lot of us don't know a lot about vehicles. So we're bringing, It's really difficult because of all the amount, the different types of fluids, Now it used to be where oil is oil as long as some's better than none. But now it's, it's, it's very specific for vehicle, what fluids you're putting in. So we spend a lot of time with that and make sure that the proper fluids and things are getting put in the vehicle. Now another thing that you're doing, which is part of KCRG, another reason why John's Automotive Service is a wonderful place to go is the coats for kids. Tell us what you're doing with that. Yeah, we are a, we have a box in the front lobby. I mean, if you don't need service, stop by and see us, Yeah, absolutely. Now one other thing I wanted to ask right before we go and before we get the information, contact information, what are some red flags that you think are prominent in different offices, or different locations? I just think that when you, when you see or feel Okay. If you don't feel Or if they're, Now that's a good point, yes. Okay. All right. Now where can people find you that either drop off coats or to have their car looked at or fixed? We're at 4910 Johnson Avenue, Northwest and Cedar Abbot's corner of Short Street, Short Street and Johnson Avenue. You can also get on our website and schedule an appointment online or give us a call at 319-396-4206. Okay. And I know you'll be back later on this month and we're going to do some car trivia. It'll be a fun one. It'll be a fun one. I know. I always think that I'm going to know the answers and I don't. You say they're easy, but. . . We've got some Halloween tricks up our sleeves for the next one, I think. Okay. Well, I'm looking forward to that. Thank you so much for being here today. I am. Oh. You're wearing a cost I am wearing a cost Oh, fun. Okay. Can'tell you what, but it'll be a cost Oh, Alphair, can you tell us? Yeah. Okay, cool. All right.
