Iron Pony Motorsports Group, Inc. is a true Columbus, Ohio original since 1975. We are your 1-stop powersports parts, apparel and accessories superstore.
Let me just tell you about the sales experience. I had an iron pony in Col Well, technically Westerville, but everybody knows it is Col But So we take a happy little trip down to Col So that's a Saturday of memory serves and she checks out the bike and we both honestly But it's kind of weird. Both of our color choices in this bike match. We both But So what he did is he put some of the most common accessories on it that people would He put some bags on with the racks. He put, what else did he put? He put the headlight protector on it, which is a must. He put a set of, I guess, fork sliders. So that's what you want to call it through the front forks. And I think that's it. But then we had him add the crash bars and the top box and the amount of accessories that have to go with that. We walked in and were just talking about the bike and prices and things He just sat down without even being asked. He just started typing everything up and I said, hey, just for the hell of it. Here's a description of her Kawasaki that we'll probably trade in just for convenience sake. Based on my description and ass And he came up with a n And so he did the paperwork up real quick to show us, hey, if we wanted to buy it and we had the trade, this would be the complete out the door price, which I thought was pretty cool. Still, absolutely no pressure. But while were sitting there talking to him about it, I don'think we'really ready to buy yet, but what's it look like as far as, He's like, I honestly not sure right now, but the way the world's going in the supply chain problem, it could be late spring, middle s I'm And then while we're talking, another salesman comes up and there was another gentleman there that was a cash buyer for this bike. And he's like, well, I'm You got a cash buyer. We're not ready to buy yet. So no harm, no foul. I said, I really wanted to go over to this other dealership and have her check out the GS850 to see if maybe she And so he's I'm like, well, So let'say one or two hours at the most. He's Go look at it. Let me know. Give me a call. I was shocked. He's got a cash buyer there right then, right there. And I'm not committed yet to buying this bike. And he's willing to wait an hour or two for us to go to a different dealership and look at a different bike and then just give him the courtesy of a callback. That floored me. I never expected a dealership to act So went ahead and left. Went to the other dealership and believe it or not, they didn't have hardly any bikes there at all. They had no GS850s or 750s. They did have this GT Pro in red and even seeing it in person, both of us just didn't care for the red. So we left the dealership and talked to the wife. I'm like, And she's he hauling around. Don't want to spend this kind of money on her. And I'm What would you say? Oh, go ahead and buy it. I'm So this is what you want. Let's just go get it now because with all the crap going on in the world still, you may not be able to get a bike for months. So we called the dealership back and committed to buy it over the phone and went back, signed all the papers. It was amazing working with the Iron Pony dealership. The salesman name was Brett. Maybe it was just the way Brett works. Maybe that's how the whole dealership works. I really don't know. But overall, what an amazing sales experience. Now, let's just see what services I'm going to be taking the bike in here in about six days for its first service. And that I have to pay on my own pocket. I have no idea what it's going to cost. They've got a couple other parts to put on the bike, but that was already bought and paid for. So no big deal there. And I think that's it for our sales experience. Unless I can talk Brett maybe into getting on camera, we'll see. If not, hey, I'm just going to sign off this video.
