You My name is Trent Sharra. I'm from Montana originally, but live in Albuquerque, New Mexico now. I'm 41 years old. Automatic Custom is my business and that's what I do for a living. Build old, old Harley's, old choppers. How would I describe Born Free? That's a tough one. Last year was the first year that I went out there. I took the Frost Lord out and I was completely blown away by it. I've never seen so many great bikes, so many awesome builders. I would describe Born Free, I guess, in one sentence as the greatest chopper show on the face of the planet. How would you describe Born Free? I'm building a 1969 Harley Davidson shovel head in an Edland wishbone frame. It's going to have a couple custom touches. Sort of salt flats meets drag strip style, I guess, but tough. Why am I building this bike in particular? Because I dig it. I'm really honored to have been asked to be one of the feature builders for Born Free this year. It's the greatest honor in my professional career. I think what's going to set me apart is my bikes are tough, built to ride, and I'll be riding it to Born Free from my home. I'd have to say my influence has come just from motorcycles. I grew up on them. I've been on bikes my whole life and I just kind of draw from all of that. There'so many great builders right now. I can't really pick or choose between names. It's an awesome group I'm in with right now, but I'm just going to go with my background. Bikes, I grew up on them. I love them. I ride them every day. Chopper scene today is just flooded. There's just an insane amount of people out there building really awesome bikes. Guys in their garages, professional guys, all shape sizes, long bike, short bikes. It's a great time to be around. People know what they're doing now. Back in the 70s, I think there was a lot of really cool bikes, but a lot of them weren't engineered very well. Today's chopper scene I think is just next level. Music Besides bikes, I'm into Muay Thai boxing, MMA type stuff. I think it's a good outlet and keeps me having a level head. I Music I guess first and foremost I'd have to thank my dad. My dad's an old hot rodder and bike guy. I think that's probably where I got it from. I'd Music
