For the past 2 years a moped club has been forming in south Philadelphia. Our club has started Philadelphia's first vintage moped repair, restoration, and sales shop "Honest Bob's 2 Stroke Emporium LLC." We specialize in the restoration of these beautiful bikes and saving them from the junk yard. Our mission is to get these relics that hit a boom in the 1970's for there ability to get upwards of 100 miles per gallon back on the road and beyond there former glory. There has been a need for smaller vehicles in Philadelphia that get incredible gas mileage. Scooters built in China and made of plastic are a trend of the past, and not everyone can afford to have a brand new Italian scooter. Thats where Honest Bob's 2 Stroke Emporium comes in. With the appeal of the vintage style and hundreds of different manufacturers to choose from; (Vespa, Indan, Triumph, Puch, and even Harley Davidson just to name a few) we can bring these relics destined for the junk yard back to life and into the hands of Philadelphians. Having beautiful, unique and vintage mopeds (averaging $100 a year on insurance and 100 miles per gallon) easily available to the public is a dream that we are helping Philadelphia fulfill.
