For those looking to learn and work themselves, we provide a collaborative experience, allowing members to build their own custom motorcycle in our garage. As a member, you have access to a full custom shop with every tool you could need, as well as the expertise from industry professionals to get through any step of your project. All I've ever wanted to do is build motorcycles. My name is Jason Paul Michaels. I'm the founder of Standard Motorcycle Co. It's a creative collaborative space. People actually, I was at a crossroads. I had just exited a successful motorcycle parts company. I was kind of tired of what that entailed. I wanted something a little bit more community-driven and enriching in my life. All the traveling that I had done, all the people that I had met, The one thing that I always thought when I left was, God, I want to hang out with more people This is my right of passage to being a legitimate contributor in the motorcycle industry. The last two and a half years, I haven't stopped. You don't have that luxury. Literally, you have to do everything to some degree. Yeah, I mean, there's obviously wonderful people helping along the way. But at the end of the day, it all falls on your shoulders. People are going to look at you, Jason, why did you fail? And that's hard, man. It's hard. We're just going to push forward. I would get headaches, horrible migraines. And then I tried to go out to the shop, and, And getting lacy basically stopped the headaches, and that allowed me to focus and see clearly and think clearly, no matter what it was that I was doing. What I didn't expect, though, was that there was going to be a mental difference. That's the reality.
