Custom metal fabrication, machining, welding, prototyping, small production run manufacturing, vintage and custom motorcycle repair.
All motorcycles welcome. We specialize in: custom made parts for the home builder of choppers, bobbers, cafe racers, sportbikes, touring bikes; Custom made exhaust systems; Complete selection of fabricator bungs made to order in metric and standard sizes; Custom seats including leather work in veg or oil tanned leather to your specifications; custom wiring including complete rewire/custom harness construction; and ergonomic modifications such as bar swaps, forward controls, and relocating controls. Our shop also specializes in revitalizing non-running, abandoned, and/or abused motorcycles. We are often able to return non-running motorcycles to service for only a few hundred dollars. With the rising price of gasoline, everyone is reconsidering the benefits of riding a motorcycle instead of a driving a car. Souped Up Monkey Motorsports typically has 2 or more running and registered motorcycles available for purchase, and often have 'rescue' bikes in progress, also available for purchase. As we are a smaller shop, we cannot afford the overhead of a 'stealership' and you won't find dozens of factory clones here; you will find unique and beautiful bikes loaded with one-of a kind parts, eye popping paint, and neck snapping performance. We also buy abandoned or abused motorcycles, and 'basket cases' or stalled projects. If you have a unfinished project or non-running motorcycle you are no longer interested in please contact us. We will ALWAYS try to utilize used/recovered/refinished vintage parts where possible, and that non-running bike next to your garage is critical to our commitment to sustainable operations and our philosophy of 'reuse, rebuild, recycle'. We are a small business and all active riders, as such, we do not keep regular business hours. Or shop is located in the NIMBY facility near the Oakland colleseum; typically we are in the shop mid-day to late night; it is always best to call and make an appointment, or at least let us know your coming so we can be prepared for your visit.
