Welcome to the Chop Shop! Located in the heart of Montclair at 73 North Willow Street the Chop Shop is a full service motorcycle shop. We buy, sell, restore and store bikes. We also provide riding instruction for all riders from the beginner to the advanced. The Chop Shop is owned and operated by local boy Sean Hartin. Sean got his first bike at 4 years old a Suzuki JR50 when his family moved to La Selva Beach California for a few years. That first bike sparked a lifetime passion for riding, repairing and restoring bikes. He worked in repair shops in Montclair for years before deciding to head west again to do stunt work in movies.... Hollywood is a harsh mistress and although he didn't get into the movies it did let him explore the huge motorcycle scene on the West Coast. In 2002 Sean became a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MFS) instructor and now with this amazing location he is thrilled to share his 34 years of experience and knowledge with his Chop Shop family. The Chop Shop is not just a repair shop or a place to learn to ride, it is a community, a family, a social club, a place where enthusiasts and beginners can come together and share in this crazy ride we call life!
