Moto-Scoot Garage

Motorcyle, Scooter and Moped Service and Parts

Welcome to Moto Scoot Garage. My name is Andrew Malke. I am the owner and operator of Moto Scoot Garage, where we work in service on just about every kind of scooter that there is. Everything from the cheaper lesser known Chinese brands all the way up to that age old Vespa that you want to get running. We do everything from carb cleans, changing batteries to complete restorations of old scooters. Well, technically what a scooter actually is 50cc's or less, but what you see on the road a lot is these Maxi scooters they are called. They are generally 125 or 150cc's. So our specialty is really in that 150cc and under 4 stroke and 2 stroke scooters. In addition to that, we do work on smaller motorcycles, older CB125's, RD250's, RD350's, Kawasaki 500's, those cult bikes that I just love so much. We are a small shop, but we are an efficient shop. We have two mechanics, one left, and all the tools required to get the job done right. One of the biggest things we do here at Moto Scoot is performance upgrades. Most people are quite surprised that they can get a 25, even up to 50% increase in horsepower while maintaining an OEM reliability. To make it easy, we have broken it down into three stages. Stage one, stage two, and stage three performance upgrade kits. For stage one kit, we first start by installing an aftermarket exhaust system. In addition to the exhaust system, we update the jets in the carburetor and update the roller weights in the clutches to accommodate the higher performance exhaust system. This will give you approximately a 25% increase in horsepower without putting a lot of additional strain on your engine, thus maintaining an OEM reliability. For stage two, in addition to installing the pipe in the carburetor that we did in stage one, we increase the displacement of the cylinder to 70 cc's. Not only does the increase in displacement mean a larger piston, but it means larger transfer ports for more fuel efficiency. Stage three is primarily meant for the serious scooterist, including the racer. It will require higher maintenance, including changing a piston as much as once or twice a year. But the performance is unbelievable. Here at Moto Scoot Garage, we do not discriminate against any brand. Bringing your scooter, we can help you keep it on the road, whether it's just maintenance or performance. Give us a call, stop by, or check out our website at moto-scoot. net.
