Here at Motorcycles in Tricerlana we do specialize in Japanese motorcycles. We work on everyt We do tire changes, tune and services, all the way up to major engine repair. So I started in 1995 in the dealers I started there sweeping the floors. It was kind of an entry level position and I worked there for I t I worked up the service manager at the time when I left. I went to Lawrenceville Honda in 1999. It's kind of the warky clerk and everyt I worked the counter there for 11 years I t Up to the assistant service manager's position in that place. I got approached by Blue Moon Cycle in I they needed the service manager. I took that job as their service manager and worked there for another five or six years. My name is Brian, I've been working on motorcycles since 1984. I was all signed up to go to DeVryve and I realized that I didn't want to wear a suit and tie and shave every day. I looked in the phone book and right down the street was a motorcycle repair school. I went to it and I've been working on motorcycles ever since. I always had a passion for motorcycles when I was a kid. Dirt bikes and then onto street bikes. Mom threatened to throw me out the house when I came home with one and I came home with one. There was a need for somebody who would do older motorcycles. So I thought that left a pretty big opening for somebody else. So I contacted Brian and said There's nobody doing this kind of work anymore and He's got 30 somet We talked about it for about a month and then decided let's go for it. That's how we got open. We saw an opportunity to have basically dealers It's a one one. We're building t And that's basically the p We can make sure that just about everybody here leaves happy. Yeah I'm really good at fixing. So my name is Ian Smith. I live in Winder. I've been on motorcycles since I was a kid and my earliest c Had a motorcycle before I had a car. I t So I went to Georgia Piedmont Technical College for Motorcycle Service Technology. Met Daniel. I had a Blue Moon cycle. I did my interns Then me and Dan went and worked at the op-alm equipment resource. From there I went to working at my church, the director of came down and talked to Brian and Dan. Awesome guys to work for and just love being part of the team. I grew up in small town of West Virginia where a lot of people had motorcycles. It was probably my older brother that got me into motorcycles. He had motorcycles and naturally you're just drawn to it. So when he wasn't home I would steal And that's kind of where it started. Probably about my first motorcycle in 1988. I've been in love with motorcycles since I was a small kid. I there's nothing You're out in the open. You feel the wind on you. To me motorcycles is two wheels and handlebars and that's it. I don't want anyt T My first motorcycle was a 1985 Yamaha Radian. It's kind of what really got me in love with motorcycles. And I found t Get it back on the road. It's just about ready but the draw of motorcycles for me was the feeling of freedom. Leaving work after a long day and driving home and passing a road and just wondering where that road went and taking that road. I've ended up in a different state from time to time. Just not knowing where I was going until I stopped and buy a map. I don't know if anybody remembers those maps. Buy a map and figure out how to get home or get a hotel room and go home the next day. But it's just always been that it'such a relaxing free spirited t Besides everybody the best part about motorcycles is just the wind going by and just the freedom of the curves. Working on them just makes sense to do somet Do my best to make sure that they have a safe and enjoyable ride. Whenever somebody comes in here we do We kid, we joke around, we laugh, The big dealers We don't want to be that. We wanted a place It's what we thought motorcycles should be, fun.
