Injecting Horsepower into the V-Twin Industry Since 2002

Horsepower Inc. (HPI) is the leading manufacturer in the v-twin industry serving over 500 dealers in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England and Japan. It is owned and operated by Mary Jo Light. Normal business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. In July of 2012, Horsepower opened a second location, their sister company Horsepower Indy in Indianapolis, Indiana owned and operated by Jimmy Light. Since 2002, HPI has specialized in the manufacturing and design of high performance fuel injected components engineered to provide more power and performance. All aspects of the manufacturing and design process are completed in house on state-of-the-art machining equipment from United States material and United States labor. HPI was the first company to manufacture an aftermarket throttle body and intake replacement for the Harley-Davidson® industry and has continued to lead the way in v-twin fuel injection. With their success in quality of parts and knowledge in the industry, HPI has been able to keep up with the changes of design Harley-Davidson® has made to their existing components, and have expanded their product line to both the motorcycle and automotive industries. HPI's key advantage over its competitors is the fact that they continue to react to changes in the fuel injection market before anyone else. They are one of the only companies to offer a throttle body for all makes and models of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles that fits all popular build specifications, and is also O.E.M. compatible. Their technology and quality in parts is unmatched. HPI’s employees are a key factor in the advantage of their products and they all contribute to the success of Horsepower. Eric Henderson is the head machinist, and contributes to the design and testing of new products. Kyle Layton and Mike Regan assist in the daily manufacturing and inspection process. Ian Ross is head of assembly and final inspection of the automotive division. Bryan Salisbury is HPI’s hand porting specialist, which is a process only HPI uses to complete their throttle bodies for the v-twin industry. Jimmy Light, owner of the Indianapolis location, is head of sales, design process, new products, and handles all technical support with customer service. Laura Light, also at the Indianapolis location, is head of marketing and sales. HPI is also Erie County’s only certified DynoJet tuning center, offering seasonal tuning services where customer’s travel all across the U.S. to schedule an appointment. They also work closely with Erie Harley-Davidson® as their dyno tuning center. Watch for the Indianapolis location to open their dyno spring of 2014. Over the years they have invested tremendously in new technology to make their products better than the rest. Through new design software, multi-axis machining centers, and inspection equipment, Horsepower has excelled where others have failed.

Hello, I'm Chris Redell from Cycle Solutions. Today I'd There are five types of throttle bodies in front of me. The horse power incorporated car is mac The stock units, w These are standard units. There are some questions about the speed method, so I'd The throttle blade is a millimeter long, and it's 44mm. But the most popular new type of throttle by wire is the 50mm one. Now, let's look at the horse power incorporated throttle body. As you can see, it's a big and sturdy one. And it's a two-piece structure. The engine is made of steel, and it's attached to the back. T So, the horse power incorporated throttle body is two-piece upgraded to the horse power. The back of the throttle body can be measured here. T 71 inches, and it's bigger than the standard one. T Most of the power is on the back. The engine is bigger, but the back is quite wide. So, it's not too much to be compressed. Now, there are two different styles of the new type of throttle body. The 55mm type. So, the diameter of the engine is 5mm bigger than the standard one. But, if you look at the back side, you can see the difference in the size. The outside diameter is 50mm. T So, the inside diameter is 58mm. So, the diameter is 48mm, and the air flow is so, you can't believe t If you want a new throttle body, and you want a 55mm throttle body for the customer, you can say, A, is the same as the standard one? Yes, it is. The diameter is 1. 66 inches, and you can fix it with a bolt. You can send t You can buy a bigger head, and you can add t You don't need to do t You can use t 81mm C-N-C port for the Screaming Eagle. If you don't have enough, you can use the 48mm throttle body. T It has two pieces of structure, and the whole size is on the back side. The most important that is, the width is about 55 inches. That is, it is very big. T You can send the air out, and you can put the head in.
