Welcome to this Andes Auto Sports Short. Hoshkis is a leading suspension manufacturer. Here we have one of their strut tower braces for our project Firebird. Now what a strut tower brace does is it ties the strut towers together really helping eliminate flex and really tightening up the front of the car. What makes Hoshkis a top shelf company is all the testing they go through. Each one of their components are tested on their road course, their autocross course, and their 200 foot slalom. So as you can tell, not only do they go through testing to make sure they're functional, but they really look good as well. So now we're going to install our strut tower brace on our project Firebird. Your Hoshkis strut tower brace comes with these little plates here. Now what this is for is this right here is raised up. If you put this strut tower bracket on top, it's going to cock to the side and it's not going to sit straight. This is actually a shim. So you pop this on there, put on your strut tower brace, and this will make everything flat and level so that the brace itself doesn't rock. Now we're going to do the exact same thing to the other side. Take our bolts, pop them through. Well there you have your strut tower brace install from Hoshkis. Great product.
