So this is probably my best mod that I've done to the bike as a performance wise. I emailed boss racing through their website and I got an email the next day saying that they didn't have a map for this ECU. And then later on that day, a guy named Anthony, which is the main guy that everybody talks about, that does the tuning. He personally hit me up and said, hey, I'm sorry, but your ECU is the same as the, I believe it's the 05-08 R6S, which is a pretty basic ECU to work with and they had a track bike come in and that guy had an ECU tuned. So it was pretty basic. He showed me charts and everything. I was And I was But he said that he couldn't set the ECU to where the fan could turn on earlier because This is my first R6, my first bike. So I was wondering if there'something wrong with the bike when I first bought it or did the guy do something that previously owned it before he sold it to me. But yeah, the bike, this R6 actually keeps up pretty fast. So the guy hit me up and he said that I'll have to take out my own ECU and send it to him. So my bike's going to be down for it. It was down for about a week. I said the same thing. I got that email from him. Then he showed me a PayPal invoice and I paid that. It was about But he actually got it, I think So I think it was a Wednesday when I sent it to him. And then he finished So I think I got it within six or seven days. So I think I got it back on a Wednesday or Thursday. So the way it feels for some reason, the bike, it bogs down. I mean, it feels You can feel the power it pulls. So on a regular R6, I believe it, it feels You'll feel that power change once you hit 8K. But it seems I mean, I'm sorry, 4,250. And it'such a big improvement. I don't know, it just feels Now, with the IQSE FuelTech Quick Shifter, it pulls even. I don't know, it just goes. So that combo, a Quick Shifter and the NAP ECU together combo, oh man, that's probably the best combo ever, which I'll make another video of later on. But for this video, it's just strictly about the Quadrace ECU. And I'm pretty happy with it. It's a nice addition to have because it pulls so hard. I can't explain it. It's just a different bike from stock from what it used to be, which amazes me. I mean, that's what you pay for is something that helps change the performance of your bike, which it definitely did. So I'll show you a quick video of what I'm talking about on how it actually feels But then after Alright, see, so it hesitated. And then that was fully, and that's Man, it closed out. Look at this. They boarded up all the doors. Man, this is crazy. I mean, just to get people quarantined, you gotta do what you gotta do. So when I got it, she had this little cheap sticker on it. And I was Not my cup of tea, but it is what it is. So rocking the 3M5. All the yellowed up. Pretty beat. But, I'm gonna go ahead and give an example of what I'm talking about when it hesitates from the lower RPM until after I mean, it's also noticeable here in But, So, I'm gonna go ahead and give it a try. Right there, to the city. Alright, so the ECU tune from Boss Racing to conclude my video, it's pretty much a more refined stock ECU to where the powerbats hits a lot sooner. But it bogs It's There you go. Then it pulls. So, I mean, you're doing the city, you're driving in the city, and it prevents you from going too fast. That's a good thing about the PowerBand on the R6 is that it doesn't really, the power doesn't kick in until a certain RPM. And I think that fits my riding style. And it keeps me h Or if somebody pulls up on me, I just got to wait on the RPM. So, yeah, I would say it's the best thing for my bike. And I'm pretty damn happy with Boss Racing. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Do you have any questions? Let me know what's going on. RPM, DMV. I'll catch you all next time.
