Mechanic Support/Set Ups - Led by Jim "JJ" Matter Rider Coaching - Led by Ryan Matter - At the very beginning, age 5, Ryan was out on a Yamaha PW50 learning the ropes of motocross. Racing at tracks like Glen Helen, and Starwest all located near his hometown in Southern California, he progressed year after year moving up the ranks in the minis. By age 10, Ryan was coming to the end of his moto days. Having moved up to a Kawasaki KX-65, Ryan was ready for something new. He made the transition to Supermoto in order to gain some road experience. In the STTARS Supermoto series, he racked up two championships onboard the 65cc bike. With his dad still heavily involved in the AMA Superbike championship, Ryan had his mind set in the same field. After obtaining his first road race bike, a Honda NSR-50, he hit every go kart track in So Cal. Racing with sanctions such as CMRRA and SCMiniGP, Ryan won numerous number one plates on board his NSR-50, NSF-100, as well as his CRF-150 inside a Honda RS125 chassis (with the first mini-fabricated megaphone exhaust by JJ Matter). At age 12, Ryan plunged into the depths of the very competitive USGPRU series. On board his Honda RS125 alongside teammate Benny Solis, Ryan gained experience at most tracks across the US. As Benny went off into the US Red Bull Rookies Cup, Ryan stayed back due to being too young as well as to gain one more year of precious experience. In 2009, after finishing an intense Moriwaki Cup Championship in 3rd just behind the likes of Jake Lewis and Garrett Gerloff, Ryan went off to try out for the second running of the US Red Bull Rookies Cup. There, he qualified to join the next season alongside previous teammate Benny Solis, and other riders such as Tomas Puerta, Hayden Gillim, and Jake Gagne. Unfortunately the plug was pulled and the upcoming season had been cancelled. With not much other place to turn with the use of 125 2-strokes coming to an end, Ryan hopped on a 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 600. With just one year of WERA club racing under his belt, he joined his first AMA Pro race after just turning 16 years of age. With a slow but steady break into the pro racing field, Ryan Matter progressed from top 15 finishes to top 10 finishes. While remaining a privateer in the very thick field of superstock riders, Ryan found himself running up front. While jumping back and forth from AMA to WERA and CVMA, Ryan still managed to take home two number one plate onboard his GSX-R 600. To this day, Ryan is still racing professionally and continuing to build his progress within the professional racing industry!

So it's important that you pick the right suspension, even if you're not carrying any loads, it's important that you pick the right suspension. And with Rams, you've got tons of different options that you can pick based on the ride situations that you will be in.
