In this tutorial we'll be looking at one of the most exciting elements of DNA racing, splicing a new core. First, go to the dna racing dot run website. Click on the lobby tab at the top. Then click on the splicing tab. As you can see there are many options in the arena to create your new core. Whether it be a cheap core or an expensive core, there's plenty to choose from. A set DNA fee is charged on top of the owner's parent fee. This fee is charged according to the most expensive parent to splice. When splicing parents with different elements, your new core will come out with the lower element, according to the splice fee chart. Check the breeding chart to work out what cores you need to make the splice type you want. Add the parent's F n This is important for conditional racing. And don't forget, direct incest is taboo. To see your core's family, just click on the name and scroll down. Select the filters for what you're looking for. Scroll down and choose your core. Click the arrow to select this male. Now you need to select a female. Now choose a female from the arena. You can also choose a female from your own vault. Click the female that you want to use. Click proceed with splicing. Confirm parents and click next. Here you will see F n If you are happy, click next. This screen shows the various costs related to your splice. The top two squares are more important for the owner. And the next square down is the DNA fee. Total cost is what you'll be paying if you've used two cores from the arena. BGC is DNA racing's breeding token and can be used to pay the DNA fee for splicing. Click on new request. Confirm Metamask Transaction. This may take a couple of minutes. When you're happy with payment amount, hit mint splice. Confirm Metamask Transaction. Minting your new core can take up to 10 minutes. Click on set bike name to start racing. Enter your core's unique name. Green arrow means the name's good to go. Red arrow means you can't use that name. Click on view bike if you want to see your bike before you name it. The bike page shows your bike type, the gender, the F n The ME next to the name means it's made and eligible. Click set bike name to start racing and enter your name. If the arrow is green, it means you're good to go. Now click set name. Refresh your browser and then you'ready to race. Click the race tab up the top which takes you to the race lobby. And start racing.
