Sands Cycleworks is owned and operated by myself Dustin Sands. Ill begin my story here. Im a 30 year old professional firefighter/paramedic, who has all ways had a passion for cars and motorcycles. I started on my first bike about the age of 5 with a Yamaha PW 80. I quickly blew the motor up on that ( the first week) and thats where my wrenching began. So my father and I rebuilt the motor in the garage and I was back up and running a week later. Then around the age of 8 my father and I picked up a 67 belvedere to restore. That took years, but thats where I learned. Cutting, Welding, Bodywork,Paint you name it we did it all. I quickly found out i had a skill set. By the time the car was finished I had built trucks, cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes and multiple odd and end jobs. So long story short thats how I fell in love with automotive. Through my teenage years of racing dirtbikes and rc cars I found that i did not like to leave much of anything stock. So thats where my love for customization came into play. So here we are years later after building a few award winning cars and bikes, its time for the next step. Sands Cycleworks. Having always wanted to own a shop and do my own work, I was afforded that luxury by a good friend of mine. Jon Gazdacko the owner of Falls Auto Body a very well established bodyshop made me an offer I could not refuse. So I set up shop inside of Falls Auto Body and thats where I will be running my business from. I will be doing any motorcycle repair work that comes through the door. Moreover I will be buying, building, and selling custom bikes as well. So thats the short of it, kinda. Try and think of me here at Sands Cycleworks next time you need something done on your ride. I'm Dustin Sands, this is Sands Cycle Works. Sands Cycle Works was derived from my name. I'm very family oriented and I wanted to bring that into my business and I feel that most of my customer base is family and friends. We're a full custom shop. We do everything from mild to wild, full builds, custom paint, stereos, you name it. We really tailor to the custom aspect of motorcycles. We love working on all makes and models. We also deal a lot with insurance claims. We work with multiple insurance agencies to make sure that we get your bike back on the road better than once before. We've done jobs all across the country and we pride ourselves on being able to meet every customer's budget.
