So what we have here is a 2018 Honda 450 head. Quite a bit of changes, quite different from in the past. I've been doing Honda heads since I was a kid. Started doing Honda heads at Hossian to Honda for Jimmy Hawley, similar to this, but Some the flow for the intake port has changed considerably. And t I mean, like, Now, if you look in there, you can see that angle that they have. So it's a straight shot right down into the combustion chamber. So the angle of the intake port is way, way better than it has in the past. I've noticed that they've gotten better with the casting flaws as well. If you look down inside here, the casting flaws that I have to take out so t And I'm going to change some angles a little bit. And so t What we're doing is going to be grinding out these casting flaws right now. Just trying to get it done in a hurry. Now I'm going to come in here and cut t Yeah, much better. Try to get it to flow a little better. Take a look. The t Just trying to make the transition a little bit less drastic. So it's a more smooth drop in. Yeah, it feels a lot better. Just take a peek. Starting to shape up pretty good. What are you looking for? So if you can see, I changed that bridge a lot and we gained a little more area. And basically what we're doing now is just took out all the imperfections. And now what I'm going to do is come in here with that's going to let the fuel atomize and then I can show you a finished product when I'm done. T Long ass intake for it. Now the intake we leave rough. The exhaust will be a little bit more rough. Now the intake we leave rough. The exhaust when I do it will have a mirror finish. And we do that so the carbon doesn't adhere to it. There's the valve guides here. And what I'm trying to do is take some meat off the top of the valve guide. It's almost done there. Boy t It's going to bark. Let me grab my little tiny one. We use an assortment of tools here as you can see to do these. We use so many different tools. A lot of work. Okay. I'm going to come in from the, we're going to flip it again. T Now you can see that angle I was talking about. If you look down through there how the fuel will come from the throttle body. Right in through the intake. As the valve opens you can see how the fuel will come right into the combustion chamber and fire. The key is you don't want to Because if you do then you're screwed. So you want to be super careful when you're doing these. That you're not screwing up the valve seats. Yeah I t
