So I get a lot of you asking me which particular damper rod is best for your setup. And sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. We've come up with a way to put them both into one so that by buying the damper rod kit you can either have an 11 or 9. 5. Here's how. So just And then with, by either flipping the tube over or using a magnet, grabbing our damper out, this bike has the 11 inches in it already. Now at the very bottom there's also the rebound spring. So we have that here. What we're going to do is we're going to take the new spacer that we are providing and we are going to slide that on first and then our spring, which is essentially dropping the damper length by one and a half inches, making it into a nine and a half inch damper. So we're going to drop that back in. And now when we go to install our spring, we're going to have to take an inch and a half out of our preload spacer, which in this case is the size of the preload spacer. So this will not be going back in. If yours has a longer preload spacer, just cut off an inch and a half. Bam.
