West Coast Racing

We specialize in Custom builds - both Vintage & modern, street & competition. Small parts machining/bead blasting service. Dealers for most major suppliers

West Coast Racing was founded by sole owner Brid Caveney on the Isle Of Man in the late 1970's. Primarily a motorcycle race team, Brid has been building (and racing) Custom motorcycles for himself and customers since then. Brid has worked for a couple of other motorcycle shops, but always owned the WCR name. We now specialize in service/repair/parts supply on Vintage and some more modern bikes, with the emphasis on British Classics

Evan Harvick already won everything a driver dreams about. Championships respect a legacy that was secure the moment he stepped out of the car. So why did he choose a small short track instead of an easy retirement? And why are fans calling this move the most important thing he has ever done? On January 24th, a quiet but powerful shift happened in American short track racing. Kevin Harvick, a NASCAR champion and one of the most respected drivers of his era, officially launched a new chapter at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He took over promotion of the track, not as a figurehead, not as a ceremonial owner, but as someone ready to put in real work to save grassroots racing. This was not a flashy press release moment. It was something deeper. A veteran of the sport stepping back into the places where racing attracts across the country have closed their gates for good. Weekly racing series struggle to fill fields. Costs keep rising while opportunities shrink. Young drivers with talent often never make it past their hometown tracks. Fans who once packed the grandstands now stay home. Watching racing on screens instead of feeling it shake the bleachers beneath their feet. Everyone sees the problem. Very few do anything about it. Kevin Harvick did.
