My name is Lily Drench, I'm a motorcycle mechanic and I own and operate a button motorbike in New York. I've been running the business for about two years now. I started working at home and doing a bit of contract work. Then we moved into t I've been doing pretty well, I'm 25 years old. I started working as a motorcycle mechanic, a slash helper when I was about 13 years old. I did a bike haul for half a year, working about 20 hours a week with a guy from my local town. When I was 16 years old I scored an apprentices So basically I started working there for each of my apprentices I did a few different jobs just from business and closing down, went overseas, did a bit of work overseas. So basically started off from passion for riding and then after that I came to Korea. I got a customer coming to me after hours doing a few jobs at home and it actually got easier because I created my own monster. After a w So I did want to do it and I also got a wish to do it but it was a good t So I mainly just got a customer coming to me and just started that one. What is the bike? Mainly fixing the bikes and that sort of t You just like to do a good job and But it's mainly be You don't only have to be a mechanic but you also have to be a banker, a boss, a counsellor. There's a lot of t Mainly be Very important. Not only the money factor where the more you work, the more you can earn without someone cutting you out due to business not making enough money. But it's the satisfaction of being yours. Come in, you open the door and it's all yours. The harder you work, the better rewards you get. So, yeah, it's a day. If you're not willing to work, it's probably not a good idea to start your own business. Well, it plays a big part. All the latest new technology coming out. Keeping on top of it. If you're an independent repairer, it's a bit hard. You're being a dealer. You get all the information on the certain manufacturing work, so you get technical updates and all the stuff. But if you're an independent repairer, we're working everyt You do have to chase the information. It does play a big part. You need all the right tools. You need to keep on top of the technology because if you don't, you don't understand it and you can't do it too. So, it does play a big part in that. Yeah, I've got the opportunity to go over to the Honda. I've got the opportunity to go over to the Honda. Were there for a few months. Helped to get the first-hand repair in the world. So, that was a good experience. I was a mechanic there. I learned a lot. A lot of hard work. A lot of work on the same bike. But it was a really good cup of tea. A really good experience. You can see the world and get paid for good. I'm going to go over to the Honda. Mainly, research it first. Make sure it's what you want. But a passion to work on them is another the passion of riding them and loving motorcycles on a weekend. Tests to die off that a little bit.
