Sacred Customs

I am the primary knife maker here at Sacred Customs. We're located in Auroch, Germany and my primary job is actually I'm a tattoo artist. T I used to call it. So Till now we've done primarily stock removal and I have a little gas forge where I do the hardening and then temper at home in my oven and things And it's worked out extremely well. We play around a little bit with the stabilizing of wood for the handles and make some of my own resin handle materials and things We try to play around with a little bit of everyt We want every single t Not buying cool materials and say, hey look at t I want everyt That's the plan. So at the moment we are building a giant hydraulic press. It'll be a couple months before that's ready and when that's done we will be able to do things Everyt But we are very limited on what we can do and what we can work with. We also got our hands on a heat treating oven w Once that's done we will be able to play around with the idea of using stainless steels w Then we'll be able to do some kitchen knives and things I mean I've made some kitchen knives and I gave one to a local butcher and he said, knife's great, can't use it because it leaves the smell of metal on the meat. I t So that was frustrating but understandable so we are working on that. But till now every design is from my head. Make a couple, see what we The knife designs are always changing. If you would We primarily work with O22 steel but we can also work with ADCR V2 and 1095, 1080 or whatever you want as long as it's forge hardenable at the moment until we get the heat treating oven up and running.
