Our dealership's history is a long and remarkable one that began in 1914 when brothers Ward and Virgil Eby opened the doors. In 1977 Reba McClanahan, then Reba Duren, purchased the Harley-Davidson® dealership from the estate of it's second owner, Dutch Myers. In 1998, she moved the dealership from it's 8th & Utica location to a custom-designed, art deco showplace at 48th & Peoria. Once the move was made to 48th & Peoria, Myers-Duren Harley-Davidson® was able to provide its customers with the state's largest selection of Parts, Accessories, MotorClothes® Apparel, Collectibles, and new and used Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. The dealership also focuses on Harley-Davidson® motorcycle customization with performance upgrades, fit, and of course, looks! Reba's motto when she purchased the dealership in 1977 was to treat customers the way she wanted to be treated. Her motto still stands true. Our goal is to provide an exceptional customer experience. You want more light from your headlamp and you want more light from your headlamp projected into dark, unlit corners w The Daymaker Adaptive LED headlamp takes lighting technology to the next level and brings you lighting performance you didn't know was possible. Daymaker Adaptive lights allow you to ride more confidently at night by allowing you to see further into previously unlit corners. During development of these new headlamps, the team used a wide range of tools including virtual reality and of course, we rode a lot of miles to collect rider feedback. The combination of rider feedback along with advanced simulation has led to the next generation of Daymaker headlamps ill Daymaker lamps are constructed with the solid state LED lamps are housed in sealed, shock and vibration resistant lamp assemblies that install into the existing housing and deliver a long life. Plug and play connections eliminate the need for splicing or rewiring and make installation easy. Let's go deeper into the Daymaker Adaptive LED headlamp. This lamp is Catnid sensors and electronics are integrated into the headlamp to determine lean angle of the motorcycle and automatically project additional light into previously unlit corners. There are 12 adaptive lighting elements in each lamp, 6 on each side of the lamp that activate as the bike leans into a turn.
