Sun Enterprises has been in shipping for over 140 years and started operating Tungers 75 years ago. Through all this time, we have set our course in the industry using our core values and operating principles as a compass. Integrity, Metatocracy, adherence to safe and environmentally friendly operations, investment of building highest quality ships and maintaining them to the highest standards, and most importantly, focus on the development and empowering of our people. Shipping is predominantly a people's industry and whatever we have at SOAR people. We strive to return this to them by providing a safe, secure and rewarding work environment in which they feel included and engaged and where they have opportunities to develop and prosper. We are particularly proud that 9 out of 10 of our captains and ship engineers have been members of the Sun family since their first service on our vessels as cadets. This outstanding retention is the clear outcome of mutual trust and mutual care and is a cornerstone in ensuring that the highest safety and environmentally operational excellence standards are clearly visible to all our team members and to our business counterparts as we are. It's even more rewarding and inspiring to have won the Tunger Operator Award in a very challenging year with the COVID-19 pandemic putting tremendous additional pressure on our operations and our people. Again, their resilience, their confidence and professionals has held us successfully overcome the challenges of the last 18 months. It does make us feel stronger and face the future without the next one.
