Long ride shields versus clockworks. What is the difference? As you can see, they are both 2023 and up Harley Davidson CVO model windshields. They are both dark tint. They both have a recurve or what clockworks calls a flare. But that's where the similarities end. Much is said about hips and shape, but not much is mentioned about the most important curve. That is the top. Look at our ride series windshield. This top is wide, smooth and relatively flat. This allows for wide smooth area of protection from wind and noise. Clockworks has hips. But look at its top. It's got a big curve and that's where the flare is. That small area of curve is the only area you will find protection. So as long as you don't move, turn your head or anything else, you have a small pocket of air of protection. Ours gives you a much wider and forgiving area to push air over and above your head.
