San Diego's ONLY authorized BMS dealer. Scooter sales and other great rides. Service for anything with an engine and 2 wheels (or MORE).
What's YOUR Other Ride? Other Ride Motors is an exciting old idea in vehicle sales and service: the notion that value and cost are not always equal. That sometimes it's worth spending a little extra in order to give our clients something great. For instance, before we sell a new BMS scooter, we'll give it a complete rundown. We do the first valve adjustment before the bike is ridden, make necessary carb adjustments, swap out fuel filters for quality pieces, swap out the spark plug for a performance NGK iridium plug, change the factory oil for Castrol GTX (and then do your first, break-in oil change for free with Amsoil Synthetic Scooter Oil), change the differential fluid with Amsoil Severe Gear, bleed the brake line and replace the fluid with Amsoil Brake Fluid (do you see a pattern?). We check all the hoses and wires to make sure that nothing's come loose in transport. We even SLIME your tires to keep you safer on the road. Yes, it costs a few dollars more to do it right, but it saves us and the customer time, money and headaches down the road. We want our clients to be THRILLED with their purchase, and we back that sale with the service and attention to detail that makes it work. Our service department is managed by Johnny Sanchez, a man who has not only been partners in his own powersports business, managed a Moto-cross team, and spent decades learning his craft, but it turns out is just this great, mild-mannered and incredibly intelligent wrench. We call Johnny S our 'Ride Surgeon,' because he works with the precision of a scalpel. Our labor rates are below industry standard for above average results. Because we know what it's like to need to stretch a dollar, we offer great military and student discounts, without sacrificing on care. Honest sales and honest service from people that will treat you like they want to be treated. If all of this sounds different than what you're used to... well, like we said, it's an exciting old idea whose time we think has come (again).
