Harley's been around since 1903 for a reason. If you want to ride a bike and you want to be on something, it makes people say, wow, then you want to be on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. My name is Rick Van Blee, sales manager here at Central Texas Harley-Davidson. I've been with the company for over 11 years now. I firmly believe that there's no other motorcycle I've got to ride other than a Harley-Davidson. Harley-Davidson is a heritage as well as a tradition. We've been serving the greater Austin area for almost 100 years. We're always trying to push the limits here at Central Texas Harley-Davidson. A customer can ride right in. We have a roll-up door so that we're not outside in the 110-degree heat in Texas. They can come in an air conditioner and get their bike checked in. We get it right back into the service department. Our lifts back there are all recessed in the floor, so it's easy on and off. So there's no chance of someone accidentally dropping a motorcycle, trying to get it up on a lift. Everything we do here and any things we do to improve the place, it's all about making it a better place. An easier place to work and just to make it more convenient for the customer as well as our employees here. We don't just carry Harley-Davidson brand specifically. We go out of our way to find out what's the new hot items in the industry. Whether it's Dixon's flannels in my motor closed department, ordering in Bassani exhaust in the parts department, service department. We're always looking to have the best that there is out there. We are a true one-stop location. You can come here and get everything not only that you need for your motorcycle, but for riding and for not riding. We had one of the bigger hog chapters that I've ever seen, and they're very active in the community. They do a lot of rides, upwards of 100 rides a year from the low-level rides to the big-level, So we're able to present them to our hog chapter and show them what the camaraderie is all about, to get them out group riding and make new friends. It's Harley-Davidson. People are just passionate about the motorcycle riding. It's just how it is. It's a big family.
