As we celebrate 30 years in business in 2017, we thought it would be nice to update you on an area of our business that is really blossomed. In 1997, we performed our very first trike conversion here at the dealers The bike was a Honda GL1500 Goldwing. The trike kit was from Lehman Trikes and Gene Buagai was our designated technician that was sent to Lehman Trikes Certification School in Canada to learn all the ropes on Lehman Trike conversions. W And in addition to Lehman Trikes here at Rod's, we became dealers for the very popular motor trike line in 2007. Through the last 20 years, we have converted hundreds of two-wheel motorcycles into trikes. The list of brands and motorcycles we have triked include Honda Goldwings and Cruisers, Harley Touring and Cruiser Models, Indians, Victories, Kawasaki, Suzuki's and Yamaha's. Last month, we received six motor trike conversion kits for Honda Goldwings. Four of these were pre-sold to customers that took advantage of our winter special program and brought their Goldwing to us over the winter and allowed us to be their dealer for their motor trike conversion. We will use the other two trike kits to transform new Goldwings into ready-built trikes to sell on our show floor. T Rod says there are two types of riders. Those that have tipped one over and those that will tip one over.
