Magnum Shielding

We manufacture premium control cables, brake lines, ignition wires, and hose products for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. We also offer "Build-Your-Own" products for control cables and brake lines.

We've got Magn They've picked, they've sent us up all the products that they make for the Softail. We actually went with a plus two kit because now that we have the handlebars figured out, the triple tree is all done. We've actually got the forward controls mounted on the bike with the alloy art hand grips and the mirrors and it just looks so incredible. I'm so p There's no brakes and no clutch. So we're going to take off the old stuff, get rid of that stuff and put on our new cables and lines. Now Magn Now this stuff is absolutely incredible. I guarantee you if you're going to be changing your throttle linkages and your cables and your brake lines and stuff, you're going to want to go with this product because the quality guys is second to none. This stuff is absolutely incredible. So we'll start from the left to the right here. They sent over spark plug cables or spark plug wires, sorry, that are going to run from each spark plug back into the bike. We've got a short stubby one of course for the rear cylinder. We've also got the twist ties that's going to help mount it back into the frame rails of the bike where it mounts on the little mounting tabs. We've also got this short little fuel crossover line. Now this fuel crossover line is going to go underneath the frame and connect both sides of the tank. It's really, really trick. You're going to see that right up front of the bike. So they sent that over. In addition, we've got our front brake cable that's going to run our front brake line, sorry, it's going to run from the front brake controls into the front caliper of the bike which is also chrome and it's going to look totally trick. In addition, we've got the complete rear brake line set. It's actually one piece but it's going to mount just Literally unplug your old one, put in the new one. It's gorgeous. Every one of these things come with the gaskets and little seals that you need. We also have the throttle cable and the idle cable that we're going to be mounting on the bike and that's going to look so trick as it comes off. Remember, all the hand controls now we've stuffed all the electronics through the bars and out the bottom of the triple tree so they're hidden but now we really want to show off the chrome, sterling, chrome, my two kits. This stuff has been in my shop now for about a month and I'm dying to get this stuff mounted on the bike so let'stop talking, let's get the bike on the lift and let's get going. So a little bit of footage of how I was installing the product on the bike. Now unfortunately I had a small technical glitch with my camera. The larger was a pretty major technical glitch with the camera. The entire 7D motherboard blew out which actually ended up corrupting some of the data files we had on the new sim that we had just put in. Now I'm not going to get into a whole bunch of how Installed it. It's very basic and very simple. Most people can do this. It's not hard to do at all. You're basically taking off the original product from Harley Davidson, the original black plastic coated cables and stuff and you're just replacing it with a fantastic product. From the brake cables to the throttle linkages to the clutch linkage to the fuel crossover line, to the spark plug wires to the rear brake line. This bike has been completely tricked out with all of Magn I'm so stoked. This bike looks totally wicked and I am so happy right now. So that concludes another episode of Project Softail on Speed Freak TV. I appreciate all of your support. As I mentioned always, I'm not quite sure what episode we're going to be airing next but if you look down here on your right, my left, you should be able to see where we're going next with this.
