Honda VT1300 Parts & Now Honda VTX1300
I'm Nate. I started SLK when I bought my Honda Fury in 2013. I couldnt find a aftermarket exhaust that I liked at a resonable price SO . . . I desingned one. Then I decided I wanted to be able to offer it to others. Cuz lets face it Modifing a Bike is expensive. Im here to help change that. OH and we are proud to say, Made in the USA!!! Red, White, & Blue!!! Got questions or a Custom Idea. Send me an email or give me a call.
Let'start by removing the stock headlights. First, we're going to start by removing the lower screw. Next, we're going to move to the upper two screws located on the underneath side of the shroud. Once the upper two screws are removed, tilt the headlight out and lift up. Now unplug your headlight and let's go to the bench. Bring the shroud down on the bench. Remove the screws on the left and right side of the OEM bracket that holds it to the shroud. Next, you're going to remove the two screws holding the adjuster bracket onto the back of the headlight. Then we're going to remove the upper and the lower screws that hold the headlight housing to the OEM bracket. With the Daymaker in place, we're going to start at the bottom. We're going to put the OEM nut inside the Daymaker mounting hole and we're going to tighten the screw hand tight. Now we're going to go to the top side of the Daymaker. The OEM nut is going to slide into the slot. You're going to put the provided spacer in between the Daymaker mounting point and the OEM bracket. Align the holes and use the provided screw. If needed, you can squeeze the bottom side of the bracket to give yourself more room. Now we'll attach the adjustment bracket with the provided screw, lock washer and spacer. Place the spacer underneath the bracket. Align the holes and insert the screw. Do the same on the other side. Go back and make sure all screws are tightened. Place the provided headlight ring down, then place the OEM bracket on top of it. Using the stock screws, attach the bracket to the headlight shroud. Not over tighten as the headlight shroud is only plastic. Now let's go back to the bike. Plug in your headlight, then insert the tab on the bottom and put the headlight shroud in place. Now insert the three stock screws that we set aside earlier. The two top ones and then the lower one. Using the owner's manual, adjust your headlight as needed. And that's it. Enjoy your new SLK Customs headlight.
