We're at Highway 66 choppers. I'm going to show you how to install the saddle bag security locks. The first thing we need to do, this is a 14 and later model. We're going to take off the bag and we're going to take off the saddle bag support. Once you've removed the saddle bag support, take off the clip in the back. Then you're going to take the new clip with the threaded portion towards the wheel and install it. Then turn it over, grab the stainless steel bolt, a little bit of Loctite on the backside. Then run that through. Once you've got it all the way in, give it a little tightness. Then reinstall on the bike. Once the saddle bag support's back on, you just simply line the bag up. The stud right here, you can move it around a little bit with your fingers. Just line it up with the hole. Push the bag on. Grab your stainless steel washer, stainless steel wing nut. Then your lock. You're going to get two locks with this. The keys are both a There it is. Reattach the front. There's no way you could ever lose this bag. It's not going to come off unless it breaks. Somebody opens up your bag to steal your bags. They're going to see the lock and they're going to go to the next bike. This is on a 14 and up touring model. We're going to go ahead and show you the 09-13 and also 08 and below. For the 09-13 models, remove the strut cover. Remove the existing. Then take your bolt, the lock tight again. This one you can start. Start the threads in there and then reach up. Snap it into place. Run it through. Grab your Allen wrench. Give it a little snug. Reinstall your strut cover, reinstall bag, washer, wing nut, and your lock. Same as before. The 08 and earlier, remove the bag. Simply pull the OEM clip out. Put the new one in, same threads facing the tire. Give a little bit of lock tight on the end of the bolt. Run it through from the inside. Give a little tighten with the Allen wrench. Same as before, install the bag, washer, wing nut, and lock.
