Hi, it's Josh here from Motorcycle Max. We've got a bike in our service department. I kind of wanted to go over with show So what we have here is a 2012 GSXR 1000. The customer told me this was purchased off Craigslist. If you come on up here, you can take a look. As you can see the bike only has 1497 miles on it. For all intents and purposes, I mean if you have these fairings on here, Tires are good. Everything looks good on it. Customer was having some problems. He brought it in to us to take a look at. First thing we noticed, and if you want to come a little closer here, you can kind of see just some telltale signs that this motor's been worked on, it's been going, been out of the motorcycle. Something's been replaced. If you see here, there's basically two different colors, There'some RTV, which this wouldn't be used if it was in here from the factory. As you're coming around here to the other side, another telltale sign, if you look on the edge here, you can see some scratches. But nowhere else does the bike have any scratches anywhere, but there's a few spots where you still see some stuff. Coming over here on the other side of the motorcycle, it's more evident on this side, but you can see the lower case as a darker kind of gray color. And if you look right up here, the contrast is pretty, pretty staggering. You can see that right there, the lower and then the higher, just a different color. You can tell these cases wasn't initially put on together. Now coming back on the other side where we get to the real problem, if you look right down in here, you can see it looks like n I'm not sure how well that's coming in, but you can see it right, right up there. There's actually a hole in the case. After talking to my customer, I found out this was purchased on Craigslist and all intents and purposes, a very, very clean bike. He's only had it for about 500 miles, spent a good fair amount of money for it, and this is something that you got to watch out on Craigslist and buying from a reputable dealer like ourselves, MotorcycleMax, we do buy bikes from Craigslist, we do buy bikes from all over, but we're the buffeter between you having a motorcycle that you've just got a good deal on Craigslist and then have a $3,500 repair, And now this poor kid's, So, com.
