OK, so there is a group that scoots around Grand Rapids in the name of love and positivity. Thirteen undersized Justin Bachman spent the afternoon with the scooter gang who are hoping that their good vibes will reduce violence in our neighborhoods this s We're going to ride with the old scooter gang in the world of seventies and so the scooter gang is here. At the beginning of May Tony Hartz and a few friends decided to ride some scooters around their neighborhood. People took notice and wanted to join in. A few rides later they had fifty people on the rideshare scooters and from there the scoot gang was born. Hartz says scoot gang is about more than just goofing around. Yes they're having a lot of fun together but he says when you're riding a scooter you're making a smart choice with how you spend your time. All I do is try to aim high, think positive and Because if you busy you got less time to get into anything negative. Riding around with the scooter gang they'recognized at every turn with cheers and with chants. They say if more young people would ride along the city could be that much safer. Just come chill. We Put the guns down. Take the scooter up. Scoot gang. In the next few months they plan to start collections and hand out care packages full of necessities to the unhoused neighbors they scoot by on their rides.
