So first tell me the history of Elarding Motorsports. Well our business began in 1965 from the family dairy farm down near Decatur. And over the years it's expanded greatly. At one point we've operated nine different facilities in five Indiana communities. And we've represented at one time or another all six of the major brands. And we've literally sold over the years, we've estimated well over 25,000 motorsport vehicles in our 54 year history. That's a lot of vehicles. And you've changed with the times, things have changed. Yeah, as the years have gone by we've concentrated our efforts here in Fort Wayne, New Haven and the surrounding community. As a matter of fact just last year we sold off another of our brands. And we did that in order that we could focus on the remaining Honda and Kawasaki lines. And since Kawasaki was our very first major franchise it'so and best of all it allowed us to move all of our operations into this much larger facility that we're in today. And so we can bring all of our vehicle sales, our parts, accessories, riding gear, it's all concentrated here. And it allowed us to bring all of our staff into one facility. We have now, our staff has over 200 years of combined experience. So they're very capable, very knowledgeable and they can always get you the right fit at the right price at the right time. Well you can also help me learn what to do, right Matt? Well that's absolutely correct. Even me? Well yes, we specialize in helping new riders learn how to ride. I believe L-Roying Motorsports is uniquely qualified to introduce new riders to the sport of motorcycle riding for a couple of reasons. We have our ride simulator. We use the ride simulator to give new riders a taste of what it actually feels And also I use it for people who are maybe just a little bit timid. So I encourage people don't be afraid, come in and give it a try. Well that would be me, timid. So I'm going to get on this ride simulator, walk me through what it's Okay, what I do with a student is Introduce them to operating the throttle in conjunction with smooth release of the clutch using the gear shift lever. And then after a point I'm introducing them to shifting and then finally using the brakes. So tell me, I mean I would ass You've done that a few times over the years, Don. This simulator helps with something that's important to you, motorcycle safety. If you can teach somebody how to operate a motorcycle before they actually get on a motorcycle, that is just a key to operating safely, right? Well, and the simulator allows you absolutely. Absolutely, and the thing is it allows you to experience operating the controls and get a feel for what it's And we say, hey, it gives you the opportunity to go 60 miles an hour sitting still. I love it, that'so important because it does. Burnouts are not a lie. Tarnet, you just taken all the fun away. So what are you doing as far as motorcycle safety? That is very important to you. What are I'm glad you asked that. Last year were able to obtain certification through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Indian Bureau of Motor Vehicles to offer the 18 hour basic motorcycle safety foundation certified basic rider class. Now the class consists of classroom portion where I'm helping students to learn the visual and mental process in early identification of hazards, followed up by a 10 hour riding, or actually riding motorcycles on a controlled range. And we furnished the bikes. Even better. Now when the student, if I can interrupt a second, now when the student completes this 18 hour class, then I electronically submit their completion information directly to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. So then all you have to do is the next day the B&B is open, go and get your license and you're done. Makes it super easy. Well if you want to come, all you have to do is call to sign up, right? Just call the dealership or visit the dealership and best of all Matt will be your instructor. He's a seasoned rider himself and he's gone through extensive coach preparation training. He's also a pretty nice guy. So if you would They would love to get you signed up for that and show you a new bike.
