I'm Kevin Shaw and you're watching the Watercraft Journal. For this episode we're doing something a little different and we're going to bring you along on a POV tour of the Broward Motorsports Fort Lauderdale dealership. Not only is the Fort Lauderdale dealership the headquarters for the BMS family, but it's also the headquarters for BMS Racing. Were here on a Wednesday afternoon so as you can see it was a little quiet, but this allowed us to walk through freely without b Were initially really impressed with all the inventory that Broward had on display. Obviously, they sell much more than just personal watercraft as they have an entire Power Sports line and in fact offer a few more things that we'll be showing you in just a minute or two. Of all the watercraft, be it a Supercharged CduRX PX or any of the Yamaha's that were on display, were really impressed with all of the inventory that they were able to have, especially during these difficult times when dealerships are struggling to stock their shelves. On the other side of the building is the service department which was slammed with customers' watercraft getting prepared for the new riding season as well as uncreating new watercraft preparing them for their new customers. Broward is absolutely slammed these days as demand far outpaces supply. As mentioned, Broward Motorsports Racing is also headquartered in the Fort Lauderdale dealership. Were here to sit with Christian Daly who represents Broward Motorsports Racing and here's his FXSVHO that he uses in the P1 AquaX Racing series. Also on display are a few examples of Sam Nimi's custom choppers which helped make BMS Chopper one of the premier bike builders in Florida. This portion of Broward Motorsports might not be as famous as its Power Sports lineup but it definitely has earned its credit among the custom bike builders and enthusiasts around the country. As is with other major dealerships, Broward Motorsports is also collecting several pre-owned units so that they can be prepared, cleaned and ready for new customers. We found plenty of Yamaha EX wave runners and CDS Sparks on display perfect for those who are new to personal watercraft, want to ease into something a little more family friendly or are working on a tighter budget. For those who are really looking to step it up, there were plenty of supercharged CDS ready to j In addition to exciting personal watercraft, there were plenty of motorcycles, quads and side by sides tour here on this massive dealership floor. We cannot overestimate the size of the Fort Lauderdale dealership, it is absolutely ginormous and you would think you would be an airplane hanger in another life. A unique feature to Broward Motorsports is its bike shop. For the motocross enthusiasts, Broward had no shortage of dirt bikes and dual sports available and ready to go. The walls were lined with plenty of Fox Racing riding gear and helmets to get you properly equipped for the track. As a major K&M dealer, the off-road enthusiasts had plenty to choose from when it came to side by sides and fully equipped quads. But for us, we couldn't keep our eyes off of that bright green Kawasaki Terrics that was absolutely ready for the sand dunes.
