We Bless Bikers on the Saturday before Mother's Day. 2018 will be our 17th annual event, on May 12. Join us for music, a message, a blessing and a burger.
Bringing together bikers of every patch, color, brand, model. Whether for you it's Harley only, Goldwing, sportbike, dual sport, touring, chopper, cruiser, or trike, this is an opportunity to gather and seek God's blessing on your life and riding. We never charge an entry fee. Everybody gets lunch for free. There are a bunch of free door prizes. You'll have a great day. There's a chance to gather, gawk, seek God, gobble good burgers, and go on your way with way more than you came with.
We always call this a bike blessing, but the bike is kind of on its own. You're the one riding the bike and the Lord is the one that's going to bless you and your ministry and we try to pray for two things. One, safe riding and that your life would be an example so that when somebody sees you on the bike, they say, oh man, there goes a bad dude. And then when they meet you, you want people to go. There goes a man and a God. And so we want to bless you today that will be strong in your life and that the Lord will give you opportunities in this coming year for safe rides and for ministry. Let's pray. Lord, we are thankful today for your blessings on us. We receive them every day. We don't realize what they are, but Lord, every day that we ride safe, it's a blessing from you every day that we have an opportunity to speak your name. It's a blessing from you. And so Lord, today as we're gathered here outside and as we're around our bikes or machines and as we're around our friends, we pray, Lord, that you will bless each biker that rides with safety this coming year. That when people don't see them, somehow Lord, you will make them sing on their bikes. Lord help them to be alert, to be awake, to use the skills that they've learned while on the road. And then Lord, would you help them to be ministers of your word? Would you bless them as even they're not on their bikes, but just when they're hanging out with other folks, Lord, who may not know you, would you bless them this year with the presence that people ask, what's different about you? Can you tell me something about that and give them an opportunity to witness? We pray again, Lord, that you will help all these folks to enjoy the privilege of riding motorcycles. In order to give you praise and honoring glory and ask your richest blessings upon each one here and all God's children say Amen.
