This installation video will walk you through the process of installing an LED glow advanced million-color LED lighting kit for sport bikes. For this installation we will raise the bike using a lift however a lift is not necessary for the installation of this kit. Prior to installation we recommend laying out and testing all parts for the lighting kit for full functionality using a temporary 12 volt source. Start by removing the seat, trim panels and fairings to gain access to the mounting locations for the strips. The wiring on this kit is designed so the fairings can be removed without removing the light strips by simply unplugging the connectors. The strips can be mounted in any area that is not hot or near moving parts. We recommend installing the light strips in the locations highlighted in the installation instructions. Clean all mounting areas with alcohol prep pads and apply the included adhesion promoter to the cleaned areas. The surface area must be free of all oils, moisture, dirt and wax so the supplied adhesive tape can bond and adhere to the installation surface correctly. Attach the strips by removing the backing of the tape and pressing firmly onto the front fairing underneath the headlights. Clean the frame section under the tail on both sides. Attach the strips by removing the backing of the tape and pressing firmly onto the frame section and secure them with zip ties when possible. Clean the inside of the swing arm on both sides. Attach the strips with wires in an orientation that best routes the wires away from moving parts and heat. As always we recommend securing them with zip ties when possible. Clean the inside of the removed fairings with alcohol prep pads. Attach the strips by removing the backing tape and pressing firmly onto the desired mounting locations. Ensure the harnesses are in an orientation that allows you to route and secure the wires when the fairings are reinstalled. Crimp the included ring terminals to the red and black wires of the control box. Connect the red wire from the control box to the positive battery terminal. Connect the black wire of the control box to the negative side of the battery or to a clean and secure grounding location. Clean the back of the control box and the control box mounting location with alcohol prep pads and apply adhesion promoter. Apply double-sided tape to the control box and press it firmly onto the mounting location. Use a test light to verify the brake light signal wire. The test light should ill To enable the automatic brake light feature, connect the blue wire from the control box to the brake signal wire using the included T-Tap connector. Doing this will allow the entire lighting kit to turn red and act as a brake light anytime the brake lever or brake pedal is engaged. When released, the kit will return to its previous setting. Plug the two-piece power harness into your control box followed by the two six-piece power harness. Run the wires to the planned control box mounting location and secure them to the bike frame using the included zip ties. Do not shorten or cut any wires. Doing this will void all warranties. Position the wires behind the fairings in a manner so that they can be secured but also easily unplugged for when the fairings have to be removed. Reinstall the fairings and any other trim panels that were removed. Reinstall the seat. Once these steps are complete and the lighting strips and wires are secure, you can test the kit for full functionality by pressing the on-off button on the wireless remote. You've now successfully installed your advanced million-color LED lighting kit onto your sport bike.
