Motorcycle House

Well, it's that timing year again. Starting to get below zero at night. We already got our first d This year is flown by, but time to park the bikes for the winter. The last couple years we've brought the R6 inside the house and I've absolutely loved it. Just love seeing it in the house every day. And it frees up a lot more space in the shop if I have to work on the sled or anything over the winter. So it's kind of a win-win. I've already changed the oil on both bikes. We're going to heat them up, give them through one last heat cycle and make sure the batteries are all charged up. And let's get to it. Get them in the house. But let's go for one last ride. I'm going to miss this sound. And now time for the last ride on the heavy hitter. The old crossplane. The crossplane that doesn't So I just finished taking both bikes for one last ride. Brought them back in the shop, give them one wipe down really quick. Make sure they're nice and clean for the house. And let's get them over there. They're looking good. Looking good. Both bikes are in the house. So that's where the R1's going to stay. Now we just got a little ramp going down into the living room. And we're going to tuck the R6 in the corner. All both bikes are where they're going to sit for the winter. This is how it turned out. I think it turned out great. So now each morning I can come out, have my morning coffee, have breakfast, kind of soak in the view, check out the bikes. It's a nice little reminder that, And I just love seeing these things every day. Even just coming into the living room, hanging out. It just gives kind of a positive atmosphere. Hanging out on the couch. Both bikes. Oh, it just looks so good. I know the lighting is probably not the best in here. So everything we have is kind of black and dark. But I love the accents on the R6. It actually matches our home decor, kind of black and gold. And it just works perfect. Every time I see the bike, it just puts me in a good mood. If this isn'the perfect home decor, I literally don't know what is. Perfect. Absolutely stunning. Just one last look from the kitchen. Kind of still see them peeking through. These things look so good. Love it. My view from the couch. Doesn't get much better than this. So in previous years, we used to have the R6 up here. I've never had two rockets in the house before. And I must say, I'm going to be doing this every year. This is amazing. I used to have my dirt bike kind of beside the kitchen table when it was brand new. But the dirt bikes, they get pretty worn and dirty. And it's not something you want to have in the house every year. But the street bikes, they're so clean and fresh and no oil leaks or anything It's not a Harley. Sorry for all you Harley lovers out there. But yeah, this is going to be a routine. So hope If you've never had a bike in the house over the winter, I would strongly recommend it if you have the space. It's just it's uplifting over the winter and kind of gives you a little something to look forward to. So cheers guys. Catch you in the next one.
