Hey friends, we're here at Moto Rangatang behind me. So they're closing up shop. So this is their final bike meetup. They came over to check it out. A lot of people have come and gone all night. So there's been a lot of people here but not everyone'staying for the same amount of time. But yeah, let's just check it out and walk around and back to you soon. Alright guys, we're here with my new friend Matt. Matt, what is up? Matt? What do you got here? This is a 98 Sportster 1200S that came into my possession pretty much in the condition you see here. It'severely garage chopped. Didn't run, it could start but put a little elbow grease into it and got a breathing fire. So I had that for a little bit and then went to the other part here is my side car. It's a Texas side car ranger model. And I bolted up with a little bit of an eight after kit and my son and I go cruising around whenever we can. So you were saying your son took an interest in bikes really early and he wouldn't, he's too little to fit on the back of a bike right? Yeah, he was So I looked around for a suitable workhorse on the old Sportster to be the most stiffest frame. So that's actually not a side car then, that's a crib. Oh there you go. I thought this was . . Put a little blanket in there and put a little blanket in there, pillow and everything. Yeah. Chill out. It's a lot of fun and you're fighting a lot of forces. You have the laws of physics. I don't want to be a little bit countersteer a lot and you break, you gotta turn in the direction you accelerate and you turn the other direction. It's a whole different animal but it's a lot of fun. How unique. Is there any mechanical assistance with this in terms of cornering or is it solid? It's just rigid struts. Oh okay, so you gotta be careful on the curb. Well you have to be conscious of your center of gravity and he likes to fly it in my neighborhood and we've got some speed h Very cool. Alright man, well thanks for showing us the bike, that's cool. Alright, that's it. Everyone's bailing. It's getting dark. I'm gonna head home and enjoy my weekend. We have a long weekend here, Labor Day so that'll be fun and hopefully it won't rain too much but it looks But that's it.
