Here's what you can expect from Ashland Cycle. I came here and this frame slider is now on Delbert and the frame slider should be turned so this gap comes over the fairing. As you can see, it's broke. That's because if you look here, you can see a little curl on the paint right on that edge right there. See it? Yeah, this should only be torqued down to about 5 foot-pounds, maybe 10. You can't even move it. Maybe 200 foot-pounds because that cheater is what it took to get it to move an 1. 8 of an inch off the fairing. So Ashland, in their infinite brilliance, torqued down the nylon or delbert frame slider over top of the fairing so you can't remove it. I noticed this because after my Quortal Cook warranty repair, my battery tender USB here no longer works. So I thought, well, I'll take off the fairing, check the wiring, so on and so forth. Lovely what I've just discovered. But that's not it. That's not all. Oh no. See how this fairing lines up? Fairly nice through here. Yeah, no need to mind the gap there. And then this. Yeah, you see that? That's because they snap the fairing underneath there, the tab that gets bolted in on the underside. So this is the kind of work you can expect from Ashland Cycle Sales in Ashland, Kentucky. And if you think, hey, maybe Kawasaki might cover this, no, they're not going to. I have to take that up with the dealer, the dealer that refuses to cover their own mistake. Oh, and that's nice. I don't even know how that got there. They must have kicked my fairing across the floor. Despite some that have been dropped, as you can see, it's garage kept with nicer, more expensive, more professional toys from better companies and better dealerships.
